Why Brinsworth Academy Sixth Form?
“We have a strong track record of results and a very experienced sixth form team on hand to provide progress support and pastoral care. Our approach is to work together with students, parents, departments and form tutors to ensure the very best outcomes for all students. We offer a truly personalised approach to our students’ Level 3 education and we get to know our students’ strengths, weaknesses and ambitions. Although we are part of the main school, we have a different identity and atmosphere, whilst aiming for high academic success”.

Sixth Form Open Evening – Thursday 17th October 5.30 – 7.30pm
Students and parents/carers are warmly invited to attend our open evening to find out about the exciting opportunities on offer at newBrinsworth Sixth Form. We have a wide variety of courses for students to choose from and have a strong track record of good outcomes and outstanding progression rates onto university and employment. This is event is for Y11 students from Brinsworth Academy as well as those who attend other secondary schools in the region.
The evening begins with a presentation in the Sports Hall at 5.30pm followed by the opportunity to visit each individual subject area for more information. Each subject will run information talks at intervals between 6pm and 7.30pm so you will be able to find out more about the subject and ask any questions you may have.
