Brinsworth Academy Celebrates Students’ Successes
We congratulate students, staff and parents/carers on the range of superb outcomes achieved by Y13 and Y11 students this summer. It was great to see students being able to celebrate their hard work and determination with some fantastic individual results.
A wide range of staff came to see students receive their results and Principal, Greg Raynor said, ‘GCSE Results’ Day is always one of the highlights of the year, seeing so many students being successful and moving on to the next step of their education is why we all come into the profession’.
Over 100 students have already signed up to join New Brinsworth 6th form for September, with hopefully more to follow.
Post 16
Brinsworth Academy has also celebrated students and their success in their Post 16 qualifications. There were some exceptional individual results with 11 students securing a Grade A average. This meant that the majority of students were able to progress on to their first choice university places with courses ranging from Medicine to History and Molecular Genetics to Psychology. We also saw students heading off to establishments across the country from King’s College London, to Warwick University and the ever popular University of Sheffield.
Almost all students were able to secure a positive destination for the next steps of their lives and they were very thankful for the support and care they had received from the 6th form team.
