Brinsworth Academy has achieved its strongest outcomes across the last three years, demonstrating significant improvements in both attainment and progress. Attainment 8 increased to 45.9, representing the highest performance across the three-year period. Achievement in English and Mathematics rose substantially, with 69.1% of students securing a Grade 4+ and 46.9% achieving a Grade 5+, both showing notable improvements on previous years. The proportion attaining the highest grades also increased, with 14.0% achieving Grade 7+ in English and Mathematics.
Performance among SEND and Pupil Premium students has improved significantly, reflecting the academy’s commitment to ensuring success for all learners. English was a particular strength, with 81% of students achieving Grade 4+, 65% achieving Grade 5+, and 23% achieving Grade 7+.
The academy has also continued to strengthen its EBacc profile, with increasing entry rates and improved attainment, demonstrating a sustained focus on academic ambition and breadth of curriculum.
Overall, these outcomes reflect the hard work and dedication of students, staff and families, and position Brinsworth Academy strongly as it continues its journey of improvement and excellence.
