On Wednesday 10th July 2024, the school celebrated with the community in our annual Achieving Excellence evening.
Every year, academy staff vote for students who have best encapsulate excellence in a range of subject, academic, and personal areas, with the winners and their families invited to celebrate their achievements. It is one of the highlights of academy life and this was no different. The evening is always capped by two very important awards – The Ian Burton Award Sports’ Personality of the Year, and The Nathan Howson Award – given in honour of important members of our community who are no longer with us, and awarded to students who represent the absolute best of Brinsworth. This year’s outstanding winners were Grace Peters and Joshua Humphreys.
It was wonderful to see so many outstanding contributions to academy life being celebrated, and we’d like to pass our huge congratulations on to all our winners and their families once again.
